The key to felling this blade-wielding behemoth is a disciplined defense, focusing on Perfect Parries to break its balance and learning the precise counters to its color-coded special attacks. Forget spamming combos; this fight is a rhythm game of parry, dodge, and punish.

Gearing Up at the Garage Supply Camptag

Just before you ascend to the top floor of the parking garage, you'll find a Supply Camp. Do not skip it. This is your final opportunity to prepare, and a few key decisions here will make the upcoming fight significantly easier. Rest to restore your health and replenish your Rechargeable Tumbler charges. More importantly, it's time to spend your Skill Points (SP).

Essential Skills to Unlocktag

While you can't go wrong with adding more attack combos, your priority should be survivability and counter-attacking. Two skills are practically mandatory for this fight:

• Blink: Found in the Survival skill tree, this is a lifesaver. It's a teleportation move that lets you dodge through an enemy's fatal (blue/purple glow) attack, positioning you directly behind them for a guaranteed high-damage counter. The timing is generous, making it an invaluable tool for both avoiding damage and creating a massive opening.
• Repulse: Also in the Survival tree, this is an alternative to Blink. It pushes an enemy back when they attempt a fatal attack. While it also prevents damage, Blink is generally superior for the Abaddon fight because it sets you up for an immediate offensive.

• Standard Combos: Abaddon will unleash three-to-five-hit sword combos. These are your bread and butter for building Beta Energy and draining its Balance meter. The timing is consistent, so focus on tapping the block button just as each swing is about to land. A successful chain of parries will often stagger it.
• Unblockable Lunge (Yellow Glow): The boss will briefly glow yellow and pull its sword back before lunging forward in a powerful stab. This attack cannot be parried. You must use your standard dodge to the side to avoid it. A successful Perfect Dodge will give you a brief window to land a few hits.
• Fatal Overhead Slam (Blue/Purple Glow): Abaddon will roar, its body will flash with a distinct blue or purple light, and it will leap into the air for a devastating downward slash. This is the attack you've saved Blink or Repulse for. As it begins its leap, activate Blink to teleport behind it and deliver a punishing counter-attack.

Phase 2: The Storm Unleashedtag

After taking significant damage, Abaddon will roar and infuse its blade with lightning. It retains all its Phase 1 moves, but now they are faster, hit harder, and are supplemented with dangerous ranged attacks.

• Lightning Projectiles: The boss will swing its sword horizontally, firing off a wave of electric projectiles. These can be dodged by moving sideways or simply blocked. Parrying them is possible but risky.
